Environment The Senior SE has a pivotal role in the early success of NETs new sales office in Germany. He or she will add significant value in building our sales and establishing key partnerships in the Central European region. As a strong team player capable of working effectively with little management supervision, the Senior SE should have prior experience in operating in an early stage sales environment and communicate with ease, both orally and in writing, with strategic partners, channels, global SIs and customers. Furthermore, the candidate will also need to communicate effectively with NET employees at all levels - colleagues, functional peer group managers and senior management. Regular travel is required throughout the region. Nearby NETs offices located in the UK and France will also provide support to this new office during the initial period. Role Primarily, the Senior SE: • develops strong relationships with NETs strategic partner (e.g. Microsoft) at local levels, and channel partners in the Central European Region and act as their main conduit to NET, and vice versa • uses a consultative approach with prospects/customers, channel partners, and global systems integrators to gain a thorough understanding of a clients technical and operational needs, and proposes solutions which meet them. • understands and is able to counter competitive offerings/positioning by articulating the quantitative and qualitative advantages of NETs solutions. • develops processes and systems to provide timely and thorough responses to prospect/customer Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs). • organize and manages customer demonstrations and benchmarking field trials, as required. • prepares and organize training and education sessions for channel partners, as required. • provides assistance to channel partners during marketing events • acts as a conduit into Product Management for the communication of product development and improvement requirements. Secondarily: • plans, conducts and directs projects • provides channel or customer sales training |
Experience and Skills

The Senior SE is primarily responsible for sales and sales support throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland (Central European Region) on a selected range of NET product solutions, namely the VX Series and Quintum Tenor Series voice gateway solutions. Requires a University degree (Engineering Diploma) with 5 to 10 years of related experience. The ideal applicant will have a good understanding of UC/UM offerings (e.g. Microsoft OCS, IBM SUT), and working experience with legacy TDM and IP PBXes (e.g. Siemens Hicom, Cisco CCM), and VoIP products (e.g. SIP products). A thorough understanding of IP and WAN technologies is a must. Previous experience in a similar role and related industry is a definite plus.
